Insertion of upstream reactance as a first order approximation model
converts PT into a
constant current power source (since you are limiting primary current).
Maximum primary
current of 30A multiplied by inverse turns ration of primary/secondary
(120/14,4000, 0.00833)
suggests maximum secondary current of ~ 0.25A.  If you are boosting voltage
with a 120%
variac, current would likewise be boosted to nearly 300mA (0.291A).

Not exact, but will get you in the ball field.
