Sorry for all the newbie guestions, but I've been playing around with java TC and found that if i shorten my secondary windings by one inch my induction tripples in the seconday (12mh to 39mh) the capacitance stays about the same, the primary inductance goes from 30uh to 90 and the mutual inductance goes way up to around 300uh from 70. Is that to much? This is a small TC 360w.
That sounds weird. In general, inductance scales roughly between linear and squared as a function of length. Did some other parameter change?
What's the secondary length, diameter, and # of turns? _______________________________________________ Tesla mailing list Tesla@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.pupman.com/mailman/listinfo/tesla
