Hello group,As a result of disability I will soon loose my Internet and am not sure of how long before my nest post.As I have been following this thread I customarily test my coiling knowledge and was in a process of posting Mr. Koivurova"s Idea. Truth to be known, he put it much better than I ever could have. What strikes me here profoundly is the wealth of knowledge I have acquired as a list member and I will miss you folks sorely. Thank you all ever so much especially you ones who posting nuts&bolts threads of the coiling art form. KUDO"S to Chip & crew of moderators,& founders

Rectify the output with 6-pulse 3phase rectier stack and build DC resonant charging TC :) 2012/9/14 Mark X2 <susax2@xxxxxxxxx>:
Hi, at home I have 3 phase electric power, 3x25A (230V 50Hz). For powering a classic AC spark gap coil I'm basically limited to 3,68kW, since the circuit breakers are 16A. Perhaps changing one to 20A would be a max. of 4.6kW. But I'm a bit reluctant to do that, because the power company's 25A fuses are a bit more costly to get replaced. If I would like to use a pole pig or parallel multiple PT's, 16A would be abit dorky. Is there an out of the box solution to convert 3 to single phase for more current? It's not possible to simply connect a transformer or variac between 2 phases instead of 1 phase + Neutral?
