Hi All,

I've been lurking with interest on the discussions about musical coils and
thought it was time to say something :-)
A friend of mine and I have built a solid state beast, seen here:

It's NOT a DRSSTC! There is no H or Half bridge in sight, it's running
about 3 to 4kw in that video.

With nothing more complex than an Arduino microcontroller and  some optical
fibre, modulation by MIDI is very easy indeed. http://youtu.be/ZIH1ffyZGL0
Presently the maximum frequency is set to about 700hz (6.5kw) which is
kinda loud...
