[TCML] Copper wire quality, glass coil forms

I posted a new video using little cleaned out olive jars from the grocery store as my coil forms, one nests inside the other and happens to have a good coupling between them.  The glass also of course having a high dielectric I think helps prevent racing sparks.

I intended to make two identical coils but ended up learning not all copper wire is created equal.  There is also some bulb lighting, incandescent and florescent.   Enjoy!

I have other sizes of glass jars that I have been cleaning out and am interested to try as coil forms, a little larger than what is shown here.  Anyone else here tried experimenting with glass coil forms?  Or can advise the best quality copper wire for the secondary they ever used?
