if you had written about target practice in a glass shop perhaps the
thought would be to suggest another activity or another venue. i don't
mean to be snide, it just seems any circuit you built would still be
subject to the same intense atmospheric interactions as your
appliances. any circuit is going to have conductors and free charges
just like conductors.
