Many years ago, these caps came on the market and I bought a bunch. I think the guy had several hundred. I think they were military surplus. I guess 100Hz Maxwells are your best bet. I have spent too much time and trouble on caps.

That's sweet! It does seem rather bullet proof.
Where did you get them, I have been having trouble sourcing capacitors for my own coil is why I ask.

The caps are ChinElectric .1uF@10KV , rated 35A RMS, reconstituted mica. I
have 25 in series/parallel for a grand total of 100nF@50KV. That cap is
totally bullet proof. I OV my pole xmfr to 280VAC in rather than 240VAC.
