Always wondered why 2 MOTS in this design seemed to me each one is 1/2 wave, 
the design by Steve Connor (scopeboy) at
http://scopeboy.com/tesla/tc2schem.html

seems to be very similar with extra capacitive filtering but uses  a single 
MOT over both positive and negative cycles (no DC in the core ?) and also 
uses resonant charging but the PSU itself seems to me to be more efficient 
use of MT capability.

Any comments ?
