Re: [TCML] SCR tesla coil



My 18 inch TC runs 40kHz. I have lots of puck SCR's. Could that be feasible?

Although an SCR could be used in a situation like a DRSSTC where the switch
only has to conduct in one direction anyway.
Keep in mind that such a coil would have to have a very low Fres as SCRs
are very slow.
