[TCML] measuring spark growth

Some casual thought on what would be a good experimental setup to study 
spark growth, etc.

Perhaps, a suitable SSTC might be a way to do it.

an Arbitrary Waveform Generator feeding a suitable transformer would do.

I'm thinking that you need the ability to do the following:

Change the RF frequency (i.e. the current waveform into the topload in 
terms of di/dt) and power on a cycle by cycle basis (this makes using a 
scheme which relies on resonance tough.)

Be able to push out a particular RF burst (a series of cycles with a 
particular amplitude vs cycle basis) at a specified repetition interval.
