Re: [TCML] Pulse capacitors
Hi John,
EBay is usually where I start looking for something along those
lines. I do happen to have a couple of NWL catalog # 10056
.1 uFd, 35 kVDC pulse caps that I could possibly see fit to part
with for a nominal fee, though. ;^) Although I'm sure they are used
and I can't garantee their remaining life expectancy or their particular
suitability for the high pulse rate of Tesla coil duty, I CAN certain-
ly garantee that they are not DOA. Not sure what their original
designed purpose was but assume laser application. If .1 uFd is
a bit larger C than you desire, you could series the both of them
for .05 uFd @ 70 kVDC. They are appr. 3" x 5" x 7" white plastic
block units and only weigh around 5 lbs. each. I'd take $75 for each
one or $125 for both of them, plus S&H, which shouldn't be that
bad due to their relative small size and weight. Contact me off list
if interested and/or need pics.

Does anyone know where I can find any single pulse type capacitors?
