Here's some more information about these caps:

Maxwell 33494
"C" type, with painted steel case
Dimensions:               8" x 14" x 27"
Capacitance:              800 uF
Max Voltage:              5 KVDC
Max energy/shot:          10,000 Joules
Equiv. Series Inductance: 0.04 uH
% Voltage Reversal:       65%
Impregnant:               Castor Oil
Weight:                   165 pounds
Design Life:              2.2 million discharges (!)

I don't know their maximum discharge current rating. They have a very 
good voltage reversal rating of 65% - most of Maxwell's "C" type caps 
are only rated for ~10% VR. More information may be available directly 
from Maxwell/GAEP.

These caps were purchased as new/surplus, and only have about 50
