No the coil was not running when I road 4 blocks on the bike.  Alarms were going off all over the place I turned the coil off then I took off on the bike to see how many alarms I could find.  One by one the alarms were going off the alarm I found 4 blocks away the people were not home to turn it off so it kept going off for about 45 minutes.
