Re: [TCML] grounding rod
The standard way to make a chain-link-fencepost driver should work:
1 Get a 3-ft length of pipe a little larger in diameter than the post you are going to drive.
2 Cap one end.
3 If necessary to give it added weight, holding it caqp-end down, pour about 6-in of concrete into the pipe .
4 When hardened, put it over the post and use it like a pile driver.
5 Finish off the last 2-3 feet with a BIG hammer.
6 Make sure to put wrie clamp over the rod before starting.

Subject: [TCML] grounding rod
Go to Lowes or Home depot, buy 8' rod,$17 or $27 for copper clad steel
od. Start by pushing it into the ground as far as possible, pull out and add
ater, push further, pull and add water push down as far as you can. Tape a
ood slat to it for stability , if you don't have a fancy long handled chisel
older, and have a freind/spouse hold it while you drive it the rest of the way
n. Unless the ground is frozen or rock. Tree roots are mostly on the surface
nd the first push down will identify. I live in the midwest, southern
llinois, and during a thaw last week the ground was very soft, but the water
rocess is used by the laborers in dry ground. Bob
