For any filtering purposes, the LAST thing you want is an ISOLATION 
transformer.  They often have a shield between windings, but not 
always.  You want a Power Conditioner.  A power conditioner is 
designed to remove high frequency noises in both directions.  Serach 
with the name ONEAC on Ebay.  You can often find a 1KVA unit for 
about $50 plus shipping.
