RE: [TCML] 2 T5587 Paralleling Chokes Wanted
Why Two? If you go to a three stack I think three are needed otherwise one
is all you need for a 2 stack as Bert points out. There was a post, don't
remember who, who took a stock one apart and documented it for us. It has a
white and a black wire in it and I do seem to remember they were wound
parallel 10 turns and joined together center tapped. Maybe someone has a
burned out small variac? It's not really a big deal just expensive if you go
with a Superior Electric stock solution. There ain't much in there!

I read the archive thread on the T5587, and the link showing the choke's
construction is broken. Anyone have a copy by chance?
Also, Bert typed up a text schematic of a simple homemade choke for only 2
variacs. This is a sound idea, right?

Thanks again guys!

Subject: [TCML] 2 T5587 Paralleling Chokes Wanted
Hi all, I have a 3 stack of 1256's that i had recently bought for a very
good price but it is lacking the paralleling chokes. I was wondering if
there is anyone here that has any T5587 chokes that they are willing to part
with at a decent price.
Thanks, John
