[TCML] Parabolic dishes for top load

Hello all,

 

I have (2) 4foot 5 ghz spun aluminum dishes which are fairly light. I am
considering using these facing each other (one facing up would likely not be
a good idea:-^) with a circular 12"outer rim of some kind as the breakout (I
have 4 or 5, 12" expandable aluminum duct segments) . This will be for a
7500kva 12" coil. 

 

The question is should I just incorporate my standard toriod with plywood or
use the accurate dish surfaces as the inner hub? The weight will be near the
same for an interesting linear charge?
