The word will catch your attention, and tickle your mind. You will see 
the context and be curious. Perhaps even irritated, which is even better.

The "Predikter" predicts, yes. And as such it is _a_ predicter.
However, it remains to be _the_ "Predikter".

Do you remember the anti cough tablets called Cur-a-coff, a word with a 
distinct Russian appearance to it. The tin with the tablets even had a 
drawing of a ruski on it, (you know, with a Zobel hat and all).
But twist your tongue and mind a bit, and you have cure-a -cough.

It is some of the same effect I am after
