Not true, for coils with air cores or properly designed [i.e. far from saturation] ferromagnetic cores. I'd welcome your physics equations to the contrary. GL 



Any time the current is changing dynamically the inductance also changes
--- it pure physics and basic E.E., not smoke and mirrors.
