Re: [TCML] triac or scr choice



Nearly any SCR or triac will work.  Look for one with at least a 200V
standoff, and a rating of five amps or so.  Personally, I use over-sized
components.  This allows me to use an SCR that has a threaded stud on it,
which makes mounting far easier.
