RE: [TCML] Capacitor dielectric examples and Tesla coil equations



Indeed, the provided table fails to indicate the critical "dissipation factor", which is the first thing that one needs to consider before using a dielectric in a pulse capacitor.  I posted a more useful table back in 2008, please see http://www.pupman.com/listarchives/2008/Dec/msg00151.html

And putting on my moderator's hat, please perform a merciful snip of the bulk the message if replying to the original?  We don't a 60KB rehash.
