Hey Mark...

My neighbor works for Entergy...  If in any case, a distribution pole 
falls more than 65 degrees from upright position (and when at rest after 
incident) all hardware is to be replaced. end quote...

The odds of transformer damage increases dramatically if the pole is at 
or past that 65 degree mark...sooo they change it out instead of taking 
the chance that it is still functional.
