[TCML] Aluminum Disc

I started building this as a logo for a aluminum gate and the client 
decided not to put one on it. I'm curious, with some smoothing and maybe 
a 3" tube welded to the outside, would this be useful as a top load for 
a coil. I have the ability to bend up to 3" in my shop into a full circle.

Any thoughts?
