Nice U-tube video clip! When your coil is adjusted to run "smoothly", it produces a clean 120Hz tone indistinguishable from a spark-gap coil driven by a synchronous rotary spark gap.
 
What is the power source for your coil during the first part of the clip? It looks like you hook up the pig for the second portion, but its not clear what the power source is at the beginning.
 
Just out of curiosity, what is the value of your tank cap?

Running off the pole xmfr, the SISG coil draws about 30-35 amps. The 16
modules set the firing voltage to 14.4KV. The 120 volt power supply
draws about 30 amps. The SISG coil is tuned by adjusting the input
voltage until the firing is smooth. As the voltage is raised, you will
notice that the firing will get chaotic. Reduce the voltage until the
firing is smooth. I enjoyed the o'scope presentation of the firing.
Almost all of the energy is in the 1st ring, very little in the next 2
bangs. James
