I was only half serious, but I might try to get 2-3 coils running...

Any idea on what the maximum safe duty cycle is for a DRSSTC interrupter?
This will limit the highest note playable.
Although with a 232Khz coil I think only dogs, cats and superheroes will be missing out.

I'm reminded of Tesla's comments in later years about the "aspects of his work that humanity will find *most* useful"...
He would be spinning in his grave.
[If he had a ferrite core, and was wrapped in copper wire]

Stephen,
Why not team up with me, I`ve already got a 6 channel suchthing going,

Thanks - this one is going to be MIDI modulated so it will need a microcontroller.
Over the next 20 years I'll be building the world's first full size Tesla organ, think church organ pipes, but Tesla coils instead...
Toccata and Fugue, anyone?
;-)
(Ok maybe I'll stop after about 6)
