Hi,
I think it was up for about 9 years. But now the drive is having
trouble. The Widows server 2000 free software is :P... It is covered
with dust. The domain name ran out (I never actually owned it and to
transfer it now would be a expensive PITA). All the fans are warn
out.
And I can't handle the bandwidth....
So Hot-Streamer is off line forever. I never erased anything*. I am
putting all 8.7Gigs of it's stuff onto two DVDs. Like 30,000 files :D
'I' really don't want to 'distribute' the DVDs since I really don't
have
a lot of time. But I can certainly send a few or many sets around and
others can copy them for still others. So I can supply the "seed"
copies at no charge.
So I just stuck in my brand new DVD writer drive thing in (I was
waiting
for the DVD technology to become "established" :D , I don't have a
cell
phone either >:D ) Ubuntu found it and it seems to run just fine. I
should be able to figure it all out ;) It seems to be working perfect
under Ubuntu. Windows on the old dual boot needed timed-out
payware :P
But I think I got the DVD stuff going cool now!
So if anyone wants one of the seed copies, and can supply down-stream
copies to others, write me and I'll get them sent to you.
The old server is being rebuilt, but as a LINUX backup/play server.
All
the files will eventually be back on-line but just as a secret thing
in
case anyone needs to download something.
So this is like that 'moderated' "vacuum cleaner bag" of those times.
Hot streamer sucked "everything" in and stored it from those days.
From
circular 74 to Bob Golka's videos, "Everything" is there. Hopefully
not
too hard to find. My filing structures where always very "simple" 0:)
As far as I know, it is all "copy, steal, and plagiarize" at your
pleasure... Some of the users used the copyright. However, a
condition
of being there was if you don't want everyone else in the world to see
and use it, just go away...
Best Regards,
Terry
*OK, we had some messed up file names not even Ubuntu with it's 150
language base could figure out :D. I did chop two giant files that
seemed dumb to get it onto disk. I cut some personal stuff and a
wedding :D But "all" the real Tesla stuff is still there for sure!!
