Yes. With everything in place, just not powered, of course.Another interesting feature is that it is also possible to tune the system to the other resonances of the secondary coil. Just tune the primary coil to them (use a variable capacitor, or associate several common capacitors, since the measurement is at low voltage), and the beating waveform appears, at higher frequency. A simple way to see where the other resonances are without need of loading the secondary coil with probes.
