RE: [TCML] isolation transformer



I think there is no good reason to use one.  The only reason that one may want to use one is to try to reduce the amount of RF coupled into the mains wiring.  But unless you use an isolation transformer specifically made with ultra-low pri-sec capacitance (uncommon and very expensive), RF will get through unimpeded.
