Hi Scott,

Ideally, you want a strip heater. It's about 18-24" long and is run on 120 V. The heating element is flat strip about an inch wide and about 1/8" thick. It will heat up to about 300 degrees. You lay that on a piece of masonite and then lay the plexi on top. Cover the top with another sheet of masonite. then you wait about 10-15 min, then bend.

The heater I have was made by Craftics, and found at a True Value hardware store.

Torches are faster, but the strip heater will give better results.

Lexan will also bend with this heater. It will turn milky when hot, but clears up again when cool.
