Hi John,

Welcome to the list. First of all, you need to
check out Bart Anderson's website at:
classictesla.com. There's a lot of pointers
on there that will address some of your
questions, especially those concerning
MMCs. A 4" secondary form will be plenty
large for a 9/30 NST and will allow for 
somewhat of an upgrade before you will
need a larger secondary form. And trust me,
you will eventually want to upsize ;^)
