They are pretty similar in size, so I would imagine that they would perform similarly.  But I would say that they are both significantly smaller than what would yield the longest sparks.  My 15/60-powered coil uses both a 7x30 and a 4.5 x 15.5 toroid.

For my 12/60 NST powered 4"x20" coil
 
I have an option for purchasing either
a 16"x3" or 15"x5" at the same cost.
 
What would be the difference in performance
between these ?
