RE: [TCML] unknown tube...
Hello coilers,
I know it is true that one shalt not touch the glass of a halogen bulb or
the vacuum will be compromised by the oils in the skin. Is this true in
general of vacuum tubes?

The number of connected electrodes suggest a triode configuration, the
base is a bayonet type with short pin (4 pin jumbo base), different from
801,802,803,804,811,812,813,814 is similar to 810, but without lateral
grid connection pin my attention is focalized on 805 with a different
plate cap. Usual plate cap for 805 RCA,GE,Amperex is the same of 813.
