My cousin is a ham radio operator and retired from the FAA. His job was  
NAVAID's.  
He says "This vaccum tube is from the late 40s 0r 50s. Should have a number  
stamped on the glass. from visual inspection, it is either a triode or a  
tetrode. . This would be fro,m the series starting at 806, 807, 809, 811, 812,  
813"
