RE: [TCML] flyback primary wireing

Another curious thing I have noticed (using it to drive a plasma globe) is that the output drops slightly when I touch the globe.  I am using a TIP3055 (not an NPN 3055,) it doesn't seem to get too hot, and I don't know what the current is because it scrambles my digital multimeter!  Perhaps more primary turns will fix that (or a different transistor.)  Thanks guys for your responses.
