Re: [TCML] Biggest? - Not quite puppies :D
Hi,
The record book "here" has Wysock's Model 13 at at 59 feet as the
longest reported and verified arc length of record to this night...
KVA Effect's dual coil was expected to easily beat that. If it now
"somehow" operates, that might be a winner if any reports are given and
verified.
Greg's Electrum at 50 feet is a close follower. His NLL is a giant
killer but not yet actually built (200 feet) expected.
Tesla himself got to 31 feet in his limited "little" lab in Colorado
Springs.
Bob Golka has the "power" record for pumping about 1,000,000 watts into
his Wendover system! He did a lot of very important work there! That
was the first time 1970's electronics met controlled lightning and set
the rules for lightning protecting far after to this day. That is where
a lot of EMP stuff started to take hold. You all probably have not seen
this video of Golka's monster in action :D

Lots of links there too... Of all the Tesla coilers I have met, Bob
Golka was by far the most impressive!!
51 Feet... Shoulda had a toriod... Don't worry, Everything in the
little fighter plane model was melted to lead :D

Hi Jeff,
The longest I have pictures of are arcs of DC's Brusier at Cheesehead,
and a 13-15' or better strike of Steve Ward's big SS coil.

TCML,
Bill Wysock has verifiable photographic and film proof that his 13M
Tesla Magnifier made 55' arcs during a run in the 90's.
Does ANYONE have any verifiable photographic evidence (backed by
eyewitness testimony) of a Tesla coil making visible electrical arcs
longer than 55'?
Ever?
Jeff
