[TCML] 90-minute DVD: 1890's Tesla / Lichtenberg Figures
Hey All,
I'm just wrapping up the completion of a 90-minute NTSC Format DVD. For now I'm calling it "1890's Tesla".
The main menu has four options, and includes a general arcing and sparking video of various coils in operation, mostly Pancake Coils. Strange clips of various effects - static-like discharges, flaming arcs, brush discharges, etc. A few historic coils, demonstrations of high frequency currents cooking tissues (diathermy), Tesla impedance coil for lighting lamps, wireless lighting, etc...
...following this there are two sections in slide-show format of over 600 Lichtenberg figures. This includes the 1897 - 1901 glass plate negatives of Thomas Burton Kinraide, and a section of over (50) 18" x 22" prints originally exhibited by Kinraide at MIT. (These were from the family archive). A really rare glimpse (espescially nice if you have a large flat screen TV) of Tesla Coil discharges of highly unusual configurations. The third part are lichtenberg figures produced here at the museum with some of my reproductions......The fourth section is a slide show of colorized Tesla Coils made with 3D engineering software based on some of his patents and drawings. Another rare glipse of various forgotten technologies.
To start off, I'll be selling the videos for only $15, in an effort to promote the museum a little.
