[TCML] Telluride tesla coil help (fwd)
Greetings list members,
Is there anyone in the Telluride area that could do a presentation on
tesla coils? The festival is for about 100 people and is fairly low
budget. According to Trent the insurance for the festival should be able
to cover the presenter.
Trent's not on the list so if you could contact him directly that would be
best.

Hey Chip,
I don't know if you remember me (I used to work at XOR) -- hope this
finds you well.
Question for you: I'm on the program committee for the Telluride
Technology Festival (http://www.techfestival.org/), a non-profit event
held in Telluride. We're looking for someone who would be willing to
bring a Tesla coil down to the festival August 1-3, 2008 and do a coil
demonstration in the evening on main street (the City is willing to
grant a permit and close the street for the event). Do you know anyone
with a coil who might consider doing this? The festival would pay
travel/expenses, etc.
It's a cool event, and since Tesla spent time in Telluride and designed
the first AC power plant that's there (actually, it's a few miles away
in Ames, CO, and is still in operation), Tesla coils are near-and-dear
to everyone's heart.
Any help or pointers you could provide would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
-TR
