Don't confuse dc ohms with ac impedance. I can hook up
my unballasted 14,400/240 volt 25 kVA pig across the
line with no problem. However, once you short the HV
side, such as in a spark gap coil, even my small
14,400/120 1.5 kVA PT will probably pop a breaker.
