Hi Crispy,

I did the same with the storage cap and with the NST charging during 
those events. Re-charge time and gap conduction will all be set by that 
static gap (a good idea in my mind). I was using 24 KVDC for my numbers 
if memory serves. In any case, it will be quick bursts. Will you be 
running a close gap on the rotary? What rpm are you intending to run the 
rotary? I guess with the motor using you should be able to vary the 
speed by replacing the trigger with pot?
