Re: [TCML] my recommendation for a SRSG motor arbor
I did something similar, only with cruder tools. I
made my disk out of G-10. I marked the center and four
quadrants using a divider, then cut my circle. I then
drilled the center hole and mounted my arbor. I
mounted it to my srsg motor and rotated it while
holding a pencil near the edge, to mark the perfect
distance from the center. I then spun the rotor by
hand and used a dremel with a sanding drum attached,
to get the circle close to perfect as I could. I then
cranked up the srsg motor and used the dremel again to
fine tune it. Finally, I drilled the four electrode
holes. It ballanced just fine at 1,800 rpm.
