[TCML] Parsing the new Digest Format

Hi All,

Does anyone have experience with getting Thunderbird to properly parse 
the new Digest format?  Extensive searches of the Mozilla forums have 
turned up nothing.

Under the original format, Thunderbird parsed the digest into it's 
separate emails, as follows:
http://www.lod.org/misc/OrigDigestFormat.gif

One could click on any of the topics in the attachment window at the 
bottom, conveniently opening it in a separate window.

The new format is displayed by Thunderbird as follows:
http://www.lod.org/misc/NewDigestFormat.gif

Missing are the topic separators in the main body, and the topics are no 
longer represented in the attachments window at the bottom.


I'm guessing that either the old format sent the topics as attachments, 
or that Thunderbird needs to be re-trained to parse the new format.  Any 
expert opinions out there?  Presently there's no direct way to read a 
specific topic or response without searching the main body for it.   GL
