I happened by the salvage man just as he started torching the outside of
a coil from the high side of a pole pig. I got the copper coil, but a
few layers were ruined. The rest of the pig was not in sight. It was
either a 10kva or 15kva pig. The wire measured at #22. It's surprising
that the coil is very heavy.

does anyone know what the wire size is on the HIGH side of a 14400/10kva
pig ?  maybe like #24 or something ?
