Hi Tomas,
Yes, fix it. Glowing spots indicate a problem and power is being
waisted. They can turn into larger glowing spots over time and
eventually burn up that area of the secondary. Been there and done that.
Yes, the coil will work with those glowing spots. Just because the coil
is sparking doesn't mean there's not a problem. Do you know why the
bottom has glowing spots?
