Greetings everybody,
     Does anybody have a variac they would be willing to sell to me?  After 
being out bid with 30 seconds left (again), I am starting to think eBay is 
not going to prove successful for me with my slow internet!  It will need to 
handle at least a 4 MOT load.  Thank ye kindly.
