Re: Interesting photo and video of coil use in Australia

I think we have all run into that at one time or another. The lack of TCML response as far as reply's are concerned does not necessarily indicate lack of interest. Sometimes I reply, sometimes I don't. Maybe it's part of becoming saturated with so many different HV experiments and discussions (on the list, off the list, work, home, etc.). I think diving into so many different topics and interests is overwhelming for most. It's perfectly natural for our brains to enter "filter mode", but because of that, often topics covered on the list are not given the time deserved. But that's part of life in this crazy world of technology.

Take care,
Bart

Hi Peter,

I like to second, what you say below about reaction of the list, from my own experience. However I have to confess, myself having really enjoyed (=consumed!) the impressive action with the car & TC, without taking the comparatively small effort of a responsive posting. In this context, I like to thank for Brian Foley's friendly comment (and only response) to my "Andiruptor" posting.

Thanks Bart and Terry
Of course you could get it from the source directly.
http://tesladownunder.com/tesla_coil_sparks.htm which has all the
pics and videos
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nRqbQr7VGk for the YouTube low res
video.
It is interesting to me how little reaction there has been from
either this Tesla list or 4HV forum to my recent stuff with rotating
breakout points and long exposure photography which is original work.
In the public domain I have had over 100,000 hits to my site and the
pics have been seen on hundreds of sites and blogs by perhaps 500,000
people if you conservatively estimate that only 1 in 5 links through
to my site. The video is only a few days old but is now getting
almost 10,000 hits per day.

Contrast that with vigorous discussion about plastic cup capacitors
on the Tesla list. Strange.
