New Coil Power Supply

Hello,
I'm building a Tesla coil for a school project, and would like to make it
as powerful as possible, but I am restricted in that the coil has to run
off of a single 15-amp, 120V circuit.  I was thinking of building a power
supply out of 3 MOTs - two in antiparallel and one in series with the
other two as a ballast/current-limiter.  Are there any problems with this
scheme?
