Hi Peter,
Sorry I don't have any pictures from above. I had been thinking about
doing that for quite a few years and finally got around to doing it. I
used a gear motor that is available on the surplus market. I believe it
is out of a paper shredder. My toroid has a large space between the top
and bottom plate. The motor and battery pack are mounted inside this
area. There is a small push button that has a plastic plunger that
protrudes out of the bottom of the toroid.
