Hi Tom,

One thing that you need to consider is that with an MMC construction,
each individual capacitor lead is small like you said, but with multiple
strings not any individual lead is going to be taking the full primary 
currents. The primary current in each individual lead will be evenly 
divided by however many "strings" that there are in the MMC.
