Hi Hal,
I too have a 50 ppm kit I got from forestry supplies. People on the list
warned to carefully read the instructions than read them again or a throw
away error was of high probability.
I haven't tested my old radar transformer yet but it doesn't have any
internal capacitors which raises the ante'.

Howdy folks,
I found a kit to test for PCBs down to 50 ppm
(http://www.forestry-suppliers.com/product_pages/View_Catalog_Page.asp?mi=33
42). Before I buy one, I thought I'd check with the List for opinions. I
read an article that says the military has tested with CLOR-N-OIL as
recently as a few years ago. It seems to be the standard testing kit.
I've been given a Toshiba X-ray transformer, 60,000+ VDC, w/ 20' cables. I
want a concise check for PCBs before rolling it indoors.
