Please, no more of the longitudinal wave nonsense!

The strongest you can reasonably claim from the original statement is that
Tesla might have thought he was using longitudinal waves, and even that
isn't clear.

If you genuinely believe that this is "solid evidence" then your definition
of "solid" and "evidence" is a lot weaker than most people's.
